We are bringing a taste of Exotica to Ceviche Old St this Christmas with food, music and performance inspired by Peru's exotica movement. We're turning the heat up this winter with Polynesian and Incan inspired decor, and of course a whole host of Ceviche classics such as the Lomo Saltado and Seabass Jalea Steamed Buns, alongside exclusive additions for the festive period such as Espadazo, our chilli cured swordfish.
The holiday cheer won’t stop at Ceviche Old St. From 1st December, Peruvian Rock 'n Roll will descend upon Frith Street as Ceviche Soho serves up a mix of festive food, including our Woodlands Pigeon served alongside squash and quinoa risotto with guava fruit sauce. We've also got incredible cocktails and a photo exhibition of ‘70s Peruvian rock sound tracked to the best of the genre, guaranteed to bring the shenanigans of Peru’s punk era to London with the biggest and boldest flavours around.
Dreaming of a white Christmas? Hit the slopes at Casita Andina, and enjoy the culinary treasures of the mountainous regions of Cusco, Arequipa and Huancayo. Try our Shortrib Escalopada, featuring braised beef straight from Surrey Farm and finished with flamed scallop carpaccio. End your meal with our award-winning Condor's Nest, a gorgeous snowball oozing with chocolate.
Want to dig deeper into the Peruvian Andes this Christmas? We are bringing our new cookbook, ANDINA: The Heart of Peruvian Food to life at Andina in Shoreditch. Introducing our all new brunch menu in Casita Andina. On the menu: everything from a breakfast tamal to a Peruvian shakshuka.
Roll up your sleeves and chow down on a glorious, multi-layered breakfast sandwich served on a quinoa bread bun and packed with crunchy pork belly, a Buford brown egg, marinated onions, and dripping with amarillo chilli mayo.
We've also got avocado pancakes done two ways: salty or sweet. Take your pick between a stack served next to a mountain of crispy pork belly. Or try our buttermilk avocado pancakes, with chancaca honey and yacon whipped cream.

In the past, Casita Andina has forged partnerships with sold-out, award-winning theatre productions, and now the Peruvian restaurant and pisco bar is offering a special, pre-theatre menu. Stop by Casita Andina on Great Windmill Street and enjoy a set menu of 3 courses for £20. Enjoy Aubergine Fries or the Ceviche Casita, with sustainable seabass, amarillo tiger’s milk, avocado, sweet potato, cancha corn, and the Puka Pikante, with heritage Peruvian potato, beetroot panca sauce, smoked fresco cheese, huacatay herb.
The menu launches Monday, 7th August and is available everyday from 5-6:30pm.

!FELIZ DIA PERU! July 28th marks Peruvian Independence Day! We are excited to host our annual fiesta at Ceviche Old St, celebrating the vibrancy, diversity and energy of Peru; its food, culture and music.
We will be serving up all of our Peruvian classics: from our Don Ceviche to Corazon de la Tia; panca marinated beef heart skewers from the grill and the Peruvian archetype; Pastel de Choclo, corn and feta cheesecake with Huancaina sauce, avocado and Botija olives.
There will be live music until late. Kieffer Santander and the band Lokandes, whose name means "crazy Andes", will be performing alternative modern fusions of traditional Andean and Afro Peruvian songs. DJ Devon Daley (BBC Radio Derby) will play a set as well as Ceviche founder Martin Morales, who will showcase the depth of Lima’s underground music scene, old and new.
Of course, it is not a fiesta without a Pisco Sour (or two...)! This party will kick off the start of the Summer of Pisco, and Peru’s national drink firmly at the heart of its celebrations.

Five years ago we opened the doors to Ceviche Soho, combining Peru's exciting cuisine with Soho's spark, and paving the way for London's Peruvian food revolution. So to celebrate all we've achieved, join us for a one off birthday celebration with some of London’s hottest chefs on the evening of Thursday 16th March.
Some of our favourite chef friends including; Neil Rankin, Gizzi Erskine, Selin Kiazim, Anna Hansen, Ben Tish, Andy Oliver, Bonnie Porter and Mark Jarvis will be paying homage to Peru’s national dish by creating their own original and unique ceviches using any ingredients of their choice. These original dishes may be spicy, they may be citrusy - we don't know. What we do know is that they will all be served with an extra dose of "chicha", that Peruvian playfulness that we love so much.
On the night, we're asking you to vote for your favourite Ceviche from our guest chefs and all ceviches will feature on our menu for the next five weeks. So get your tastebuds limbered up for some voting.
Tickets are available for £38pp and include gorgeous canapés on arrival, a taster of each guest chefs' unique ceviche, along with our hot list of Ceviche Soho favourite dishes from the last five years. Goat meat has arrived and is here to stay. Lean and delicious with a succulent texture, 2017's hottest meat trend is also great for you, containing less fat gram for gram than chicken. Not only fantastic for the health conscious, eating goat meat helps to combat wastage from the dairy industry, making it an ethical choice as well.

The CEO CookOff will see CEO's and senior business leaders swap their suits for aprons, and take up frontline positions in the kitchen with some of the best chefs in the UK.
Martin Morales is helping Jamie Oliver raise money to eliminate hunger, combat obesity and reduce food waste. Together with 30 leading chefs and top senior business leaders, Martin and one of our chefs will be teaching a top CEO to cook a healthy Peruvian main course for 600 everyday heroes who work in UK schools and hospitals. It’s all to raise money for Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and UKHarvest, and they have a whopping £2 million target. You can support their work and donate to the event here.
We're throwing a New Year's Eve Fiesta at Ceviche Old St filled with cutting edge music, a stunning Peruvian feast and a hefty dose of cheekiness and chicha. From 6pm, our guests can enjoy an extra special menu curated by our Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes showcasing Peruvian party food at it’s finest. Then, as the clock ticks closer to midnight, tables will be cleared and the festivities will begin, making way for some incredible DJs playing funk, Northern soul and Latin disco headed up by our very own Martin Morales on the decks. Of course, no celebration would be complete without Pisco Sours and our bartenders will be on hand all evening mixing the best Peruvian cocktails London has to offer. Let's party!

For over a thousand years in The Forest of Dean, in rural Gloucestershire, wild boars have lived a joyful life feeding on nuts, acorns, roots, grass, fruit, and mushrooms. Today these wild boars still feed themselves and live in the 42 square miles of mixed woodlands, with their survival and numbers managed by professional and authorised wildlife rangers. Until 1066 a large area was reserved for Royal hunting and boars from this Royal Forest were supplied to the King’s table. Christmas is a special time to celebrate and by brining the best British ingredients together with Peruvian techniques and seasoning we want to serve you something special this season.
A ‘seco' is a slow cooking Peruvian technique perfect for this dish. Wild meat has a much richer flavour than farmed meat, it also has a distinctive texture, looking more like steak and its taste hints of organic pork and venison. Just like other game it's a great hearty, nourishing meat, brilliant for crisp autumnal days or cold winter nights. So it’s a memorable and unique Christmas dish. Although it's possible to buy farmed wild boar it is the rarity and superior flavour of authentic wild boar that makes it such a prized delicacy.

At Ceviche Old St we’re kicking off a brand new series of Soul Food Sessions, featuring some of London’s most exciting chefs. Inspired by the legendary Motown soul sessions of the 60’s, these collaborations begin by celebrating the Day of the Dead with Mexican chef Edson Diaz-Fuentes of the brilliant Santo Remedio. Santo Remedio opened in Shoreditch earlier this year to enormous acclaim but closed its doors just a few months later due to issues with the building. Edson needed a new home and so our team welcomed him for this unique event. Alongside our Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes’ Peruvian menu, Edson has created a selection of exclusive new taco dishes celebrating his passion for the rich and diverse cuisine of Mexico.

We're incredibly excited to welcome some of the country's top restaurant critics and chefs to Ceviche Old St for this year's Too Many Critics on Sunday 5th June. The premise of the event is simple – the tables will turn as a team of top restaurant critics will be dropping their pens and picking up a pan, as they find out what it’s like to be on the other side of the pass preparing an exclusive Peruvian style dinner for 120 guests.
We can’t wait for critics to cook our amazing menu, specially designed for the evening by Executive Chef Vitelio Reyes and founder and chef Martin Morales. They’ll also be shaking up perfect pisco sours, Peru’s national cocktail. Sitting comfortably in the restaurant will be a group of London's leading chefs who get a rare opportunity to pass judgement on these influential critics. The best part of it is, this 'payback' is all for a good cause, raising funds for Action Against Hunger, a humanitarian charity committed to ending child hunger.
This year’s critics include Lucas Hollweg (Food Writer), Bill Knott (The FT’s How to Spend It), Lisa Markwell (Former editor, The Independent on Sunday), Rose Prince (The Telegraph), Jay Rayner (The Observer) and Rebecca Woollard (Delicious Magazine).
Chefs judging the critics include Dan Doherty (Duck & Waffle), Neil Rankin (Smokehouse and Bad Egg), Francesco Mazzei (Sartoria), Shaun Searley (Quality Chophouse), Brad Mcdonald (The Lockhart and Shotgun BBQ), Pascal Aussignac (Club Gascon) and Hamish Brown (Roka).
This year’s host is food and drink broadcaster Nigel Barden (BBC Radio 2), who will also be conducting a live auction on a host of exclusive and money-can’t-buy experiences and items.

Ceviche is reaching new heights. Celebrating the launch of the first-ever direct British Airways flights from London to Lima, we've created an exciting Peruvian menu for passengers to enjoy on board during May.
Carefully crafted dishes combine authentic South American flavours with traditional cooking techniques. They include:
- Causa de Camaron: mashed yellow potatoes, layered fresh prawns and Amarillo chilli
- Bistec Escabechado: grilled marinated beef fillet with pickled tomato and onion salsa and sweetcorn purée

We are excited to let you know that we're opening Casita Andina, in London’s Soho on 28th July, Peruvian Independence Day. Casita will be on Great Windmill Street and is inspired by Peruvian ‘picanterias’; family-run, traditional restaurants which serve the local community and travellers. Usually found in the Andes in the homes of ‘Andinas’ (women from the Andes), I grew up eating in such picanterias, gaining my love and knowledge of cooking from my Andina grandmother. Together with my friend and Exec Chef Vito Reyes we are drawing on these memories, mixing our London creativity and offering a regularly changing menu, some great lunch snacks you can eat at your desk and one-off cocktails.
With Casita Andina we want to do something different to anything we’ve done before. Our location has a great restaurant heritage as it was once known as ‘The Little Cottage’. Just like a little home or ‘casita’; its cute and cosy and was a home from home for actors and thespians from the West End. We hope that we can carry on with that charm but with our own twist. Our focus is on incredible flavours; honest dishes full of tradition, and organic, sustainable ingredients. And my love for the Andes will come through its celebration of dishes and drinks, textiles and textures.
Dishes will include:
- Maca Lamb: huacatay marinated lamb loin, garlic maca uchucuta, heritage Peruvian potatoes, St George's mushrooms, crushed spicy cancha
- La Soltera: black quinoa, green peas, ova, lamb's lettuce, queso fresco sauce
- Cobia Tiradito:– sustainable black king fish, rocoto tiger's milk, pickled pineapple, nasturtium
- Chupe: King prawns, coriander quinoa chicharonnes, chupe liquor
- Choc con Sauco: Melt-in-the-middle Peruvian chocolate, quest fresco mousse, pisco-infused elderberries
Casita Andina will have the look and feel of a welcoming home, with 58 seats set across two small cosy floors and a basement kitchen. Contemporary textiles using ancient Andean weaving techniques will feature in the seating, while artworks by top Peruvian artists will adorn the walls, a further reflection of the deep heritage, tradition and chic touches that Casita Andina will draw upon. On the ground floor will be a ceviche counter, a pisco bar, a takeaway area, and cosy seating at the end of the room. On the upper floor will be a bright 30-seat dining room leading out to an open air patio seating 8.

Ceviche Old St has been named ‘Best Venue’ in the Retailers' Retailer Awards 2016, voted for by restaurateurs and retailers. The award is given an ‘outstanding UK venue’ in terms of design, offer, operating format, service and trading performance.
Peruvian restaurateur, chef and award-winning cookbook author Martin Morales opened Ceviche Old St in March 2015 at the historic Alexandra Trust Dining Rooms. Martin kickstarted the Peruvian restaurant scene in London when he opened Ceviche Soho (Feb 2012), which was followed by our sister restaurant Andina in Shoreditch (Dec 2013).
Since opening in Spring 2015, Ceviche Old St has received fantastic reviews for food, drink, service and atmosphere alike. It was a finalist in the Best Designed Independent Casual Restaurant - Casual Dining Restaurant Awards 2016; voted in the Top Ten New Restaurants of the Year by City AM; awarded five stars by Time Out London; and described as ‘one of London’s top new restaurant’ in Metro. It has featured on a number of ‘best of’ lists, including top Sunday Roast by Time Out London.
The RROTY Best Venue award was presented by Sir Ranulph Fiennes at a ceremony held at London’s Guildhall. Now in their 17th year, the Retailers’ Retailer Awards are unique in that they are the only ones voted for by senior executives from the industry itself and are therefore a true reflection of what the market thinks, identifying the best companies, concepts and individuals.
Martin Morales said: “We’re thrilled to have won this award, recognising a brilliant team effort – from our chefs, our bar staff, our front of house team, designers and suppliers. We’re dedicated to creating the best possible experience for everyone who comes to our restaurants, and there’s a tremendous amount of hard work, attention to detail, care and passion that goes into every element of what we do. Next month Ceviche Soho Restaurant Manager Angel Tapullima will be the first Peruvian to take part in the Marathon des Sables (MdS), ranked as 'the toughest footrace on Earth'.
He will be running in the heat of the Sahara desert with temperatures up to 50 degree centrigrade for the equivalent of 5.5 marathons in six days - a total of 254km (156 miles). Angel is raising money for our partner charity Amantani, which runs children's educational homes in the Andean mountains of Peru.
Sponsored by Ceviche, Asics and supported by fitness expert Harry Jameson, he has undertaken intensive training since winning a place last autumn, often running for up to three hours after finishing a shift at the restaurant at midnight.
He has spent the last month training in on the sands in the heat of northern Peru to help acclimatise to conditions.
Angel says: "I'm very proud to be the first Peruvian taking part in the MdS. The training is mentally and physically tough, but I know I'll need that for the real thing. I couldn't have done it without the support of Martin Morales, Harry Jameson, Asics and my whole team at Ceviche and Andina. I hope I can raise lots of money for Amantani, who do such amazing work for children in Peru."

FIRST LONDON PISCO COCKTAIL COMPETITION
On Sunday 7 February we’re inviting London’s top bartenders to take part in the first ever London Pisco Cocktail Competition.
The event will feature 20 competitors battling it out in front of a panel of expert judges including Simone Caporale, Simone Sasha Filimonov (Imbibe) and our Executive Bar Manager Miguel Arbe. The best cocktail of the night will go on the menu at Ceviche Old St during London Pisco Sour Week, with 10 per cent of sales of the drink going directly to the creator. The winner will also be given a £100 voucher to spend at Ceviche Old St, Ceviche Soho or Andina, plus a bottle of pisco.
Finalists will also all receive a bottle of pisco, thanks to competition sponsors 1615, Barsol and Portón,
Entry is via an online form, deadline 4 February; the 20 competitors will be picked at random. Everyone’s welcome to come along to support, with Pisco Sours being served at a special price.
